As part of my university course (Film and TV Production we had had to make a 6 min documentary on a subject are of our choice. i decided on social networking and how it brings people together but as its was only supposed to be 6 mins long my group and i decided on narrowing it down on one area of social networking, youtube... some people dont see youtube as a social networking but with all the vloggers out there organising social events its kind of become one. We then decided to focus on the fame aspect of youtube, is its easy to get noticed online. I personally watch quite a lot of youtube videos and came across Rick C a couple of years ago i liked his stuff and what he did online. i also came across daveyboyz and found that he had found fame amongst itv so i got in contact with them both and organised interviews. The shooting week was very stressful (for me) i take things very seriously and become very focused on my task ahead. I was Director and presenter as well as part of the editing team. But I am preety proud of the out come i didn't orginally like it but the more i look over it the more i realise that for a first yera documentary its not actually that bad although i hate seeing myself on screen blergh :/ . if you would like to watch the documentary just follow this link
